Application of the Concept Pravritti Ubhayasyatu in Sandhigata Vata: A Case Study

Sandhigata Vata is one type of Vata Vyadhi and is associated with joint swelling and is seen as a leather bag full of air on palpation and painful while extension and flexion of the joints. In this article, a case report will be described where there is successful management of Sandhigata Vata with Ayurvedic approach. In this part, we describe the concept of Sandhigata Vata with the case study of a female patient aged 67 years old. Drugs involved in the treatment of Sandhigata Vata and criteria for the assessment of the same. In this section, an improvement seen after Ayurvedic treatment was elaborated. Mechanism of drug action and conclusions were made here. With the use of this article, we conclude that we can effectively manage SandhigataVata with Ayurvedic medicine.
